How much will this cost?
In-studio sessions have a session fee that is pre-paid at the time of booking. It covers the time, equipment, and skills that it takes to make a professional portrait of you. For school portraits, we must prepare your yearbook image for yearbook publication and deliver that image according to specific guidelines. Session fees range from as little as $20-$150. Session fees do not include any prints, all packages are sold separately after your images are taken. Keep in mind, if you order at the time of your sitting you receive a discount!
Why do I have to pay
a session fee?
There are a limited amount of sessions available before deadlines to accommodate so we do require a pre-paid, non-refundable session fee at the time of booking. It covers all the time equipment and talent that it takes to photograph your student professionally. This ensures that your timeslot is reserved for you only that translates to images that you will love. Our goal is to give you a great experience and this policy helps make that happen!
What is the rescheduling/
cancellation policy?
If you need to reschedule a session please call our office at 951-696-2002 as soon as possible to make the time available for someone else. We do have a 72 hour reschedule/cancellation policy. If we receive less than a 72 hour notice, there will be a $20 rescheduling fee that must be paid before rescheduling. All session fees are non-refundable which means cancellations will not receive a refund. If you do call after office hours, a voicemail MUST BE left in order to be noted.
Why do I have to use Studio 94 for my yearbook picture?
The school uses one studio to make the yearbook look uniform and professional. We are the contracted photographers for several schools. Most schools have been contracted with us for over 20 years and trust our studio to deliver high quality images of your students. Only the yearbook images are required to be taken by our company, however we do offer other sessions for those who would love to have images of your students to cherish for a lifetime.
No, students do not have to pay to be in the yearbook. For all schools we offer a free day on campus later in the semester. There are no professional services for free with this session, which includes no pre-scheduled sessions. There is no guarantee of quality with this image. It is very similar to registration days where the students come in and get their picture taken. ONLY one image per student and they do not get to see it beforehand. There will be no opportunity for the student to choose his or her image. There will be NO retouching options for this image.
Do I have to pay to be in the yearbook?
Do you offer payment plans?
Orders over $400 can qualify for our layaway plan. The layaway plan can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly automatic payments that can be set up for your order. We do require a $50 down payment at the time of creating your layaway plan. However, it is customizable to where you can choose which date the payment will land on and how many payments you would like to make. You can always call our office at 951-696-200 to make mini payments or pay off your layaway ahead of time. Please ask your sales representative for more information at the time of your sitting!
What do I wear for my session?
For Seniors - Depending on your school, they may require students to wear solid black for the yearbook (MMHS, TVHS & VMHS). Previously, the school required students to wear a tux or drape but due to COVID restrictions, they switched the requirement to solid black. All other schools allow students to wear what they would like but to make sure it is dress code appropriate. Please refer to your schools tab for specific requirements! Yearbook only sessions will only have to come dressed in their yearbook outfit. It is taken waist up so the bottom portion will not show. For Professional Standard Sessions, we recommend students to come dressed in their yearbook attire, they are welcome to bring a change of clothes or props for the outfit of choice and we provide the cap and gown.
